As of March 04, 2026, no single, central “2026 Federal Government Recruitment Portal” is open for mass hiring of entry-level civil servants across all Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) and Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF) have not yet published the nationwide 2026 general recruitment advert for fresh graduates or GL 08/09 positions. The most recent large-scale federal civil service recruitment exercise ran from August–November 2025 and has now closed to new applications.
However, several targeted and ongoing recruitments are active right now under the 2025/2026 cycle. These include professional cadres, conversion exercises, and MDA-specific vacancies. Below is the current status.

Most entry-level Administrative Officer, Executive Officer, and professional cadre hires (GL 07–10) are expected in this window.
