Job Responsibilities

As an NYSC Trainee at GeoEnviro Nigeria Limited, your core responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in environmental impact assessments and site inspections.
  • Supporting data collection and field surveys for environmental and geo-engineering projects.
  • Helping to prepare technical reports, documentation, and proposals under supervision.
  • Participating in planning meetings, project briefings, and team discussions.
  • Collaborating with the engineering and research team on client deliverables.
  • Conducting environmental and scientific research to support ongoing projects.
  • Performing basic GIS mapping, data entry, and file management tasks.
  • Providing administrative support in the office, including scheduling and logistics.
  • Ensuring proper record-keeping and timely updates of assigned project files.
  • Adhering to company protocols, safety guidelines, and professional conduct at all times.

Requirements and Skills

  • Current NYSC corps member serving in Lagos.
  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Good analytical and report writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative in a professional setting.

Remuneration

The successful candidate will receive a monthly allowance between ₦50,000 and ₦70,000, depending on skill level and engagement performance.
