Job Responsibilities
As a Production Engineer at Seplat Energy Lagos 2025, your duties will include:
- Leading daily production and injection surveillance efforts across assigned fields.
- Ensuring accurate and reliable production metering and data quality.
- Supporting the development of short- and mid-term production forecasts.
- Identifying optimization opportunities and recommending cost-effective solutions.
- Coordinating well interventions and managing artificial lift systems.
- Mapping constraints, managing developable volumes, and supporting field development.
- Providing insights for shutdown planning and long-term production strategies.
- Mentoring junior engineers and supporting team-based decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (B.Eng or B.Sc.) in Petroleum, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering.
- Second-Class Upper Division (2.1) or equivalent is mandatory.
- 7–10 years of experience in production engineering, process engineering, or facilities optimization.
- Proficiency in tools such as OFM, IPM, Spotfire, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong foundation in artificial lift, well testing, and field surveillance.
- Excellent communication, technical reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Must possess an NYSC discharge or exemption certificate.
