Action Against Hunger (ACF) is currently recruiting for the position of Logistics Coordinator in Nigeria. This is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing all logistics, supply chain, procurement, fleet management, and warehouse operations within the organization’s humanitarian programmes.
Job Summary
Position: Logistics Coordinator
Location: Abuja (with frequent travel to field offices)
Contract Type: Full-time
Level: Senior Management / Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the entire logistics department (procurement, warehousing, transport, assets, and fleet)
- Ensure compliance with Action Against Hunger logistics policies and donor requirements
- Support programme teams with timely and cost-effective delivery of supplies and equipment
- Manage relationships with suppliers, transporters, and service providers
- Oversee fleet management, maintenance, and fuel consumption
- Prepare logistics reports and contribute to grant proposals and donor reporting
- Ensure proper warehousing, stock management, and asset tracking
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s is an advantage)
- Minimum of 5–7 years of logistics experience in humanitarian or development organizations
- Strong knowledge of procurement, warehousing, and fleet management
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
- Previous experience working with major donors (USAID, ECHO, BMZ, etc.) is highly desirable
